Lyndon Gyurek Ph.D., P.Eng.

Lyndon is the Director, Drinking Water and Wastewater for the Regulatory Programs Branch at Alberta Environment and Parks. He is responsible for standards/guidelines for municipal water infrastructure including drinking water, wastewater and stormwater management.

Prior to joining the Government of Alberta, Lyndon was Senior Manager, Environmental Services, EPCOR Water Canada for seven years--working to meet the environmental management needs of its water and wastewater treatment facilities, and supporting the communities in which EPCOR operates to meet client needs for river and stormwater management. 

Lyndon was one of the founding Directors of the ALIDP when he previously worked as a Senior Environmental Engineer and Supervisor of Environmental Planning at the City of Edmonton’s Drainage Branch.
